About Freddie
Freddie is a quirky 2001 Toyota Hiace that was fully converted into a campervan in early 2019. We proudly boast that he’s as reliable as they come (old Toyotas, you can’t beat ‘em!). Freddie’s first journey was an epic 4-month trip from Cyprus to Norway and back to Cyprus again (when we say he’s reliable, we mean it – not a single breakdown).
Driving Freddie is a breeze -- he’s narrow, so you don’t have to worry about navigating a huge van through the small village streets that you’re sure to explore, and he has full windows for a 360-degree view. Plus, he's an automatic, making him a very friendly choice for our left-hand drive friends!

Who Is A Freddie Rental For?
If you like to take your time exploring, then Freddie is a perfect fit for you. Freddie suits people who like the backroads and find joy on the scenic route. If you regularly input Google maps directions using the 'avoid highways' feature, you and Freddie will get on just great.
If you like to zoom from place A to B on the highway without savouring the journey, then we recommend you look elsewhere for a newer, faster home on wheels.
